The Foundation endeavors to overcome the historical conflicts between Korea and Japan by providing opportunities for mutual understanding and dialogue through exchanges with domestic and overseas researchers on various subjects beyond the victims of the forced mobilization under the Japanese occupation. Furthermore, the Foundation engages in discussions on victims of war with European countries in addition to the forced mobilization in East Asia, seeking ways to reconciliation and peaceful co-prosperity.
