Tribute, Remembrance, Commemoration and Advancement Foundation for Victims of Forced Mobilization by Imperial Japan

The foundation is a public service corporation established on Jun. 2, 2014, pursuant to the ‘Special Act for the Investigation of Forced Mobilization during the Opposition to Japan and Support for the Victims of Overseas Forced Mobilization’.
The organization’s major projects include welfare support and commemoration of the victims, casualties, and surviving families of the forced mobilization by Japan as well as culture, scholarship, research, and investigation related to the victims of the forced mobilization. The Foundation for Victims of Forced Mobilization by Imperial Japan is committed to faithfully carrying out follow-up projects to resolve past issues by reinforcing the role and capacity of institutions to contribute to national reconciliation, peace, and human rights development.

The Foundation for Victims of Forced Mobilization by Imperial Japan is pursuing a variety of projects to deliver justice through investigation of the truths of forced mobilization and by providing solidarity and empathy through communication and healing of victims and casualties. Through these efforts, we aspire to attain a community spirit of reconciliation and mutual prosperity for national harmony and the realization of social values.
